Cantina Rustica BX is a locally owned restaurant built around a passion for authentic Mexican cuisine and community connection. Located in the Bronx, we proudly serve fresh food designed for the neighborhood we call home.

Meet the Chef
Kamran Naseem began his career cooking in some of the finest restaurants New York City has to offer. His stops include Daniel, Aquavit, Aureole & The Four Seasons Restaurant.
His first position helming a kitchen was at Junoon where he renewed the Michelin star twice.
At Reserve Cut he ran the pinnacle of kosher dining in New York.
He then moved on to the iconic Grand Central Oyster Bar Restaurant which is one of the largest seafood restaurants on the Eastern Seaboard.
After restaurants he moved on to being the executive chef of Deborah Miller catering a business that has stood the test of time for almost four decades.
His last position was as Culinary Director of LaGuardia Airport which received best airport food by Forbes Magazine during his tenure.
His background has a unique blend of fine dining, fast casual, high volume & catering. He is suited for any culinary challenge presented to him.
